What this means is if you want to run the same playthrough as I will be chronicling here you will have to get a hold of TTW 3.2 somehow. Rapid-torch flamer has custom textures and lacks the backpack. Protectron gaze has a new unique design by me, making it resemble a miniature tri-beam laser rifle. Precision Gatling Laser has custom barrels. Perforator is a pimped out custom tacticool H&K G3. All mods, especially the one I just mentioned, are now outdated. It also has a bull skull engraved on the handle. A few days ago Tale of Two Wastelands was updated to version 3.3 after years of work. In order to make the two games run under one, the Fallout 3 content needs to be replaced with NV equivalents, that way you get comaptibility between them since FO3 acts like a NV mod. I do need to leave a disclaimer, however. Fallout 3 is a separate game, it uses the same engine but some things are different.

Well thankfully another mod exists here that combines them in a way that actually makes sense. You may be wondering how New California could possibly link to Fallout 3. I'll also post my full load order at the end of this post for any who want to try it for themselves. But Ranomizer thrown into the mix creates a new level o. As I work through these games I will update this blog accordingly. Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are great, combined in A Tale of Two Wastelands, theyre even better. I have dubbed this playthrough 'Tale of Three Wastelands'. I was going to take it even further and add in Fallout The Frontier, but unfortunately that one lagged my game out to hell for some reason.

Now you might think this would be enough Fallout in one playthrough right? Well, I decided to take it a step further and add in Fallout New California, a truly fantastic prequel mod for Fallout New Vegas.
